I absolutely loved reading this book and was hooked from the introduction! I often think about raising children in today’s world and seek various Christian resources for support, wisdom, and direction but honestly, I haven’t thought much about the future of the church and the importance of creating resilient disciples. The future is unknown but after reading Resilient I feel encouraged and better equipped to go about discipling my children and the youth I come in contact with.
In my opinion, Resilient is a must-read book for any church leader, in particular, anyone in children’s or youth ministry, as well as for any parent or Christ follower who is passionate about discipleship and spreading the gospel to the ends of the earth. I highly agree with a lot that was said in this book and strongly believe that the state of the church, both present and future, lies in the souls of those who are a part of children’s ministry.

CHILDREN NEED TO PRAY BIBLICALLY where they TALK to God, Praise, adoration, confession, petitions all in the name of Jesus. NOT “entering the Silence and Solitude”, like all the false teachers that Bell and Markins endorse! RUN FROM THE NEW AWANA pushing the “new’ Kingdom work. We are NOT in the”Kingdom” This is the one world church rising. RUN from AWANA pushing the heretical “Purpose Driven Life” Run from AWANA’s promotion of “SPIRITUAL FORMATION” which is New Age Catholic “spiritual disciplines” to “make” us like Christ. RUN from AWANA’s promotion of the New Age ENNEAGRAM, a New Age ‘worship’ tool promoted by the CDF leader John Mark Comer! RUN FROM AWANA!s promotion of Catholic monk Brother Lawrence’s chanting and contemplative prayer – Monk put his faith in the false gospel of the Catholic church and went mad trying to do ‘breath prayers’ 24/7.
